Matvey “Matt” Immerman earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Mercer University and graduated from Physical Therapy school in 2015. He has worked in orthopedic clinics in Montgomery County and Baltimore until joining OrthoBethesda in 2020. Matt is a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He strives to create patient-centered programs that utilize a combination of exercise and hands-on therapy to maximize his patients’ function. Matt is a graduate of Sherwood High School in Montgomery County and the University of Maryland, where he earned double bachelor’s degrees in History and Kinesiology. He is excited to serve the community he grew up in. Originally from Russia, Matt is fluent in Russian. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, officiating soccer games, and running a cookie (and other desserts) review blog with his wife.
