About Max Rebhun

Before pursuing physical therapy, Max earned a BA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Ecology from Purchase College. Max's decision to pursue physical therapy came after a personal experience while working with the AmeriCorps VISTA program in Bismarck, ND. While working on an organic farm and addressing food insecurity, Max injured his hip. After seeking physical therapy and experiencing significant improvements, he was able to return to his yoga practice. This transformation inspired him to change careers and dedicate himself to helping others recover and get back to the activities that are most important to them.
Throughout his career, Max has worked in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, outpatient neurology, home care, and outpatient orthopedics. He has experience working with a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions and strongly utilizes manual therapy in his practice. Max integrates hands-on techniques, therapeutic exercises, and education to help his patients achieve their goals and live active, pain-free lives. An avid theater-goer, Max also enjoys performing in theatre. He understands the unique physical demands placed on performers and is passionate about supporting individuals in the performing arts with injury prevention and rehabilitation.
