I’m an Occupational Therapist and a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). While physical therapists often treat general orthopedic conditions, my training as an occupational therapist allows me to focus specifically on how injuries affect your ability to use your hands and arms in daily life—at work, at home, and in the activities that matter most to you. Becoming a Certified Hand Therapist required advanced, specialized training and passing a rigorous national exam focused entirely on the hand and upper extremity. This certification is held by a relatively small group of therapists and reflects extensive experience treating complex hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder conditions. I specialize in treating hand and wrist injuries, tendon and nerve issues, arthritis, and post-surgical recovery, as well as elbow and shoulder conditions that impact function and performance. In addition to my hand specialty, I have a strong background in orthopedic rehabilitation, which allows me to look beyond just the hand and address contributing issues from the shoulder, neck, or movement patterns when needed.
