Seeking therapy can be intimidating, regardless of what brought you here. At Cognitive Pursuits we will take a collaborative, strengths-based approach to our sessions to create an environment of growth and healing.
This space is meant to allow you to express authentically, seek fulfillment and feel empowered. I have a passion for partnering with clients to help meet their self-defined goals and would be honored to be a part of your journey.
I approach therapy from a cognitive perspective, often referred to as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Through this framework I help clients make impactful changes, better understand themselves and improve their emotional well-being.
Over the past seven years, I have worked with individuals recovering from moderate to severe substance use disorders, primarily opioid use disorder, and co-occurring mental health disorders to reduce harmful behaviors, establish and sustain sobriety and improve overall mental health.
I started Cognitive Pursuits to bring all I have learned in treating substance use disorders to a broader range of clients looking to improve their quality of life and emotional wellness.
