***I am currently accepting private pay clients only. I am out-of-network, and I can provide super bill receipts to submit to your health insurances if you are eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. I have limited sliding scale slots.
***Many of my clients are able to access their out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement. In this case, clients are often reimbursed 60-80% of their session fee. You are responsible for paying for the full session fee at the end of session via credit card, Zelle or Venmo.
***My fee is $200 for individuals and $250 for couples and family therapy. Sliding scale fees are available on a limited basis.
Melissa Fulgieri is passionate about helping people take control of their anxiety, depression and trauma in order to build their self-worth and emotional well-being.
Her therapeutic style is active and collaborative in the conversation. She builds trusting relationships with her clients that serve as the catalyst towards positive change. During sessions, Melissa is supportively direct: acknowledging and validating clients, while guiding them to shed the thoughts and behaviors that are no longer serving them. Melissa’s clients would describe her as nonjudgmental, warm and down-to-earth.
She believes that everyone can benefit from therapy. There is a certain clarity that comes when you understand how your past contexts impact your current functioning. Melissa believes that effective therapy can eventually put the therapist out of a job. In order to achieve this, Melissa works hard with her clients to build on their strengths towards a path of self-sufficiency.
