“Eli has made himself an incredibly helpful resource for me since I've come to him for help with a diverse slew of struggles I've recently discovered myself dealing with. He's passionate and well versed in the practice and has an innate ability to level with his clients to make them feel at ease and safe to be vulnerably honest. I've also come to find that he's able to make connections with disparate things I've talked about years apart that I wouldn't have been able to see myself. I have never worked with someone I thought was a better match for what I needed. Believe that! ”

Getting to know Eli Wilson-Berkowitz

You might look fine on the outside. You get things done, people rely on you. But internally, your mind is relentless. You replay conversations. You assume you’ve disappointed people. You question your competence. You compare yourself to others constantly. Even when you achieve something, the relief doesn’t last. In therapy, we slow down the loop. We look at how anxiety and shame reinforce each other. We work on building a more stable sense of self that isn’t entirely dependent on performance or other people’s reactions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My clinical areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, self-esteem, grief, and transitional concerns. Through evidenced based approaches including CBT, ACT, and schema therapy, I aim to tailor my treatment approach to the specific needs of each individual.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My style is thoughtful, collaborative, and structured when helpful. I draw from evidence-based approaches for anxiety and mood concerns, while also exploring the deeper patterns that keep self-criticism alive. You don’t have to keep fighting your own mind alone. If this sounds like you, I’d be glad to connect.

Eli has always made me feel understood and valued. He is compassionate and knowledgeable, and helped me develop insight into life/relationship patterns I had struggled to make sense of on my own. I really appreciated the complete lack of judgement during our session and the trust we built which allowed me to be open in ways I previously thought were impossible.
Easy to talk to and very professional. He asked questions to narrow down what I needed and I felt seen for the first time in a long time.
