“PT Shimeles was really attentive and caring when I consulted her about my shoulder pain. She asked me a lot of questions to fully understand the nature of the pain, she explained what might have caused the injury, and gave me some really helpful exercises to strengthen my shoulder and prevent more harm. Most of the time when I see a healthcare provider, I feel rushed because they are only allotted a short time to see patients. But, I did not feel rushed with PT Shimeles because she was so patient. She is also knowledgeable! Thankfully, after about 6 weeks of doing the rehab exercises that she prescribed, my shoulder is feeling much better. I highly recommend her as a PT.”

Dr. Merob earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at University of Maryland, Baltimore and a Bachelor’s degree from University of Washington, Seattle. Dr. Merob was drawn to the field of physical therapy, when she personally witnessed the valuable impact of this discipline in the lives of her parents. Dr. Merob considers herself a lifelong learner and an explorer at heart. Outside of work, she has received advanced training from the Institute of Clinical Excellence and has visited 10 countries, with hopes of seeing more in the future.
