“I have visited three different PTs prior to Mike. I wish I had come to him earlier. Other PTs work on you for 10-15 minutes and let you do your exercises for the majority of a session. Mike spent the entire session working on you. You are his only patient for that hour. He is very skilled and leads your body to follow his movement in a natural way. I felt much better in just 2 sessions. ”

This was the best PT experience I've had, and I'm very grateful for having found Michael! I'm excited to be working with him!

Very kind and made me comfortable. Explained each step of the treatment and I am seeing results with a lot less pain.

Awesome! Took his time to listen to my concerns and worked with me one on one to figure out a good plan moving forward

Dr. Alcorn was a great PT. He was always friendly and approachable during the sessions and made me laugh even when I was going through a difficult situation. Prior to seeing him, I had tried out another PT and a podiatrist that didn't solve my problem. After a year of seeing other specialists, Dr. Alcorn was the only one who correctly assessed and treated my injury. I would probably still be injured and unable to do the things I love (such as running) if I wasn't treated by him. I can not thank him enough!

Great PT, knows what he's talking about and has a clear plan. I have a hip surgery planned in June and will be coming back to him for physical therapy.

I am extremely thankful for my visit with Dr. Michael Alcorn. He expressed genuine concern with my injury and really took my background story into consideration before the session began. I feel confident in his strengths, knowledge and abilities to help me get my health and injury back ASAP. Highly recommend!
Dr. Alcon is great. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. As a physical therapist he doesn’t want patients to get surgery, but I trust him to tell me if PT will not solve my problems. I used Dr. Alcorn at another PT practice and liked him enough to seek him out again. Meredith A.

Everyone is so friendly and nice at this clinic! It's not always easy to come to therapy when you are in pain but the therapists at Precision always make me feel welcome and I always feel better after I leave!
I wouldn't recommend any other PT place than Precision! They are knowledgeable, courteous, and really pay attention to the patient's needs and concerns. I love coming to this place. I highly recommend Precision Physical Therapy if you want to receive the best PT care!
I was not able to play golf for the longest time. I had pain and stiffness whenever I tried to swing a club. Michael was able to get me back to golf pain free. I now play 3 times per week without pain. I've actually improved my golf game. Go see Mike! I highly recommend him!
I had knee pain that had lasted over a year. I had seen another therapist who was not successful in treating my knee symptoms. I went to see Michael in hopes of getting better results. Within a few visits, I was walking better and I had almost no pain in my knee. Michael was able to pinpoint the exact source of my knee pain while also improving my strength. My knee has never felt better and I am able to participate in more exercise classes than before. He is the only therapist I will see for future injuries!
Mike has been my PT for about 2 years now and I first came into the clinic with a lot of pain because I had JIA. Working with him my pain has significantly reduced and sometimes I don’t even feel it. He has helped with strength all around, including my joints and it’s awesome not feeling any pain.
I went to see Dr. Alcorn for my back and neck. I had been experiencing pain and stiffness for years. I am a classically trained pianist. My performances were suffering due to constant neck and back pain. After only a few visits Dr Alcorn had my posture corrected and I was feeling less pain in my neck and back. Throughout the PT process, Dr Alcorn explained my issues clearly, set my goals and now I am playing the piano as good as I’ve ever played! I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Alcorn for PT!
I've worked with both Mike and Will. They got me back to 100% very quickly and professionally. I tore ACL, MCL, both meniscus, and patella tendon and they were able to get me back to playing soccer less than 1 year after surgery. Cant recommend them enough.
I absolutely recommend Michael for physical therapy. I have gone to him for several injuries including the hand, ankle, knee, and hip. Each time, he has successfully treated me and gotten me back to 100 percent. He not only gives you clinical advice about your injury and exercises, but he relates them to your daily activities and work life. He encouraged a healthy and safe work/life balance by teaching me to become more aware of my physical health and needs. There is no one better to go to if you are seeking treatment for injuries or for a healthier lifestyle.
I was headed for surgery for a torn meniscus, but decided to first try PT. I've been working with Michael Alcorn who has been terrific. Not only has he helped me to avoid surgery, he's also helped me to maintain an active lifestyle, including walking, biking, yoga, etc. Michael is energetic , personable and knowledgeable. He tailors PT to my skills and abilities, yet is always challenging me to go the distance. I highly recommend him.
I've worked with Mike in connection with two separate injuries. He's amazing; incredibly competent, invariably positive and always has a way of brightening my day. Moreover, he is concerned about the whole person and we frequently talk about diet, prevention and exercises for overall health, which, as an older adult who wants to keep active, I find extremely helpful. I recommend him wholeheartedly - I honestly don't think you can find a more caring and knowledgeable therapist!
I was referred to Michael from one of the mothers whose daughter swims with my daughter on the school team. We had been unsuccessful in finding treatment for our daughter who had been dealing with shoulder pain for the past six months. When we got in touch with Michael, we knew from the start that we had finally found the right therapist. He made my daughter feel comfortable and he explained things in a way we could understand and feel confident about. Michael had my daughter back to modified swimming in three weeks and full competition in less than eight weeks from the start of therapy. If you are seeking a highly professional, knowledgeable, and courteous therapist, I only recommend you see Michael from Precision Therapy.
I thought my rehab for my ACL reconstruction would take forever. It was certainly the most enduring injury I have ever experienced. After several months of physical therapy, I have returned to active running and other sports participation. I could not have completed my therapy without Michael's expertise and commitment to my own physical health. He is phenomenal at explaining his procedures and the reason why he is doing them. He keeps you engaged and motivated each and every session and he pays attention to you at all times. I am very grateful to have received treatment from Michael and from hear on out, I will only go to one place for physical therapy.
Michael is a Rockstar PT! From the very beginning of my therapy, he has been engaging, motivating, charismatic, upbeat and extremely knowledgeable about my hip condition. I enjoy going to PT! Such a great relief to know that I'm in the hands of a great therapist!
I recently finished rehabbing my shoulder at Precision Physical Therapy. I had undergone a labral repair after several dislocations in my right shoulder. I was hesitant that any therapy would work after the extensive physical trauma that my shoulder endured over many years. Michael, my therapist was exactly what I needed to recover. From the beginning, he evaluated my shoulder, gave me specialized exercises, was hands on, set goals, and worked with me step by step to make sure I was progressing in order to make a full recovery. He always encouraged me and showed confidence in my progress even when I didn't. My shoulder feels better than it ever has. I absolutely recommend Michael for any physical therapy needs.
I've seen Michael for two separate back injuries over the course of the last three years. This most recent stint in physical therapy was after a lumbar fusion surgery. I can quite honestly say I was not able to get out of a chair much less walk after the surgery. Needless to say, I was scared and apprehensive about my prognosis. I even questioned whether or not I could even perform regular activities ever again. Now, several months later and fully recovered, I am able to perform all my work activities, regularly attend my broadway shows, and even take some fitness classes during the week. Michael's unwavering commitment to making sure I made a full recover was essential. He showed complete dedication and patience to my every need and concern. Even when I had bad days and I felt so much pain, Michael always encouraged me and outlined a program specifically so I could progress and succeed. I never would have reached my physical goals without him pushing me, motivating me and just being there every step of the way. I have the utmost respect for Michael both as a person and physical therapist. I recommend him unequivocally.
