About Michael Camacho

Michael Camacho, PT, DPT, OCS is the Clinical Director for the Hackensack River St. office. Michael received his B.A. in Biology at Rutgers University and continued his studies to earn his Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) at Dominican College in NY. He became a board certified clinical specialist in Orthopedics (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2016. Mike uses his expertise in biomechanics and movement of the entire body to identify and treat the source of a musculoskeletal problem or sports injury; instead of only treating the symptoms. Michael has 3 years of teaching experience in the Dominican College Doctor of Physical Therapy Program. When Michael is out of work, you can find him pursuing the following hobbies: Weightlifting, Road Cycling, Mountain Biking, and Photography.

Mike was very helpful and provided me a free first consultation for my injury. He was kind enough to see me on short notice and helped treat me with exercises that I could do despite my injury. I 100% recommend Professional PT of Glen Rock to anyone who needs physical therapy!

I love Professional Physical Therapy. Coming there 3 times a week. The result is amazing. I feel so much stronger. It helped me to avoid knee surgery after partial ACL torn. Michael is very creative with exercises, so it’ never boring and always challenging. it’s I’m happy to recommend it to anyone.
