Michael Marrera, a New York native born and raised in Queens, began Breaking (breakdancing) at an early age. Shortly thereafter, his street breaking evolved into a love for all things physical! With thirteen years of professional dancing under his belt, he became a certified personal trainer and licensed massage therapist, ready to share his passion with the world.
These experiences led him to discover his ultimate passion: the freedom of MOVEMENT. It was the collective experience of all his passions that shaped this realization. Michael was certain there was a better solution than what was currently available, seeing things differently from the industry norm. He opened his first private clinic in the heart of Astoria, New York, as the exclusive provider of Movementologist, creating a space where he could serve his personal clients and spread awareness of a healthier way of moving.
