Are you stuck and ready to feel like yourself again? Do you long for relationships that are easier and more connected, but you're not sure where to begin or how to start? You don’t have to figure it out alone. We all carry different “parts” of ourselves, some that protect, some that hold pain, and some that long to be seen. I want to help you connect with these parts in order to untangle old patterns, find relief from stress and worry, and reconnect with yourself and others in a more grounded, authentic way. With over 20 years of experience, my approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I blend practical tools with emotional depth, helping you make sense of what’s been holding you back and discover new ways of responding that feel right for you.

Getting to know Dr. Mojgan Pourmand

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach goes beyond talking about what’s wrong. We’ll also pay attention to your feelings and your body so that change isn’t just in your head, but it’s something you can truly feel. As an IFS-informed and EMDR-trained therapist, I focus on the body and its built-in capacity to restore and heal. By incorporating more awareness of how the body is feeling in the moment, we can gently release emotions that words alone can’t reach. I’ll meet you where you are and help you figure out what’s been keeping you stuck so that you can start moving forward with more ease, clarity, and confidence. I want to help you untangle old patterns and create space for real growth and lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, human, and real. The truth is that you are already enough, just as you are. I will bring mindfulness and curiosity into our space together, helping you slow down, notice what’s happening in the moment, and gently explore what lies beneath the surface. If you’re curious about working together, I offer a free 15–20 minute phone consultation so we can connect, talk through your goals, and see if it feels like a good fit before starting. Please note: I’m a private pay provider and do not accept insurance directly. However, many plans offer out-of-network reimbursement, and I’m happy to provide the documentation you might need for potential reimbursement.
