About Molly Polizotto

Molly earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Radford University Carilion (RUC) in Roanoke, Virginia. During her time at RUC, Molly worked as a Graduate Research Fellow, completing research on clinical experiences and concussion testing, and later presenting her findings at national conferences. Prior to earning her doctorate, she graduated magna cum laude from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, concentrating in Exercise Science. While at James Madison University, she served as a teaching assistant in biology, volunteered with her local Rescue Squad, and worked with an organization promoting health and wellness in women and girls. Molly has worked with a variety of patient populations and diagnoses during her outpatient orthopedic clinical affiliations. She focused on neurorehabilitation, geriatrics, sports rehabilitation, gait training, and post-operative care. She became a physical therapist because she believes movement is the best medicine and that physical activity, along with helping people return to their regular daily activities, enables them to experience life to the fullest. Molly's passion for movement stems from her history as a competitive runner since high school. Her goal is to empower patients to reach their highest potential by working closely with them and listening to their goals to create well-rounded treatment plans tailored to their needs. Raised in Northern Virginia, Molly is excited to be living in NYC. In her spare time, she enjoys running through Central Park, trying new restaurants, reading, backpacking in the mountains, and kayaking.
