About Dr. Nicholas Daniels

Nicholas Daniels has a sincere passion for the craft of physical therapy, especially as it relates to orthopedics and sports. Nick is also particularly interested in patients with unique or challenging cases — those who have tried other treatments with little success and walk into the clinic as skeptics. He thoroughly enjoys creating outside-the-box therapy plans for such patients, cheering them on as they reach their goals and graduate from his care, all while turning them into believers in the healing power of physical therapy. Nick received a BS in Athletic Training from Montclair State University and certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association in 2008. He treated high school and college athletes across North Jersey, focusing on injury prevention, assessment and rehabilitation. He then went on to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2013. In 2017, Nick was recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association as a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Nick loves to learn about the human body, how to handle its weaknesses, and the amazing feats it can accomplish when at its best. Nick is an avid weightlifter, skier and golfer, and spent many years playing baseball on school teams and adult leagues. As a result of his baseball “career,” the doctor was once a patient himself. Nick has undergone shoulder surgery and rehabilitation from a sports-induced injury. He is subsequently very sensitive to both the physical and emotional roads his patients must travel, and especially empathizes with the sidelined athletes who are eager to back onto the field, horse, dance floor, and everything in between. When he isn’t in the clinic or pursuing athletics, Nick enjoys playing with the power tools in his home workshop and spending time with his wife, family and friends.
