About Nicole Baratta

She earned a B.S. in Biology at Ramapo College in 2016 and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in 2020. During her clinical rotations, she treated in a variety of settings such as outpatient orthopedics, school-based pediatrics, acute brain injury and inpatient rehabilitation. She gained experience working with a wide variety of patients including post-operative care, orthopedic and sports injuries, and neurological conditions. She is currently in Professional PT's Orthopedic Residency Program, which is helping her sharpen her manual techniques and provide evidence-based care for her patients.

I had verified my insurance with the provider beforehand and confirmed they accepted my insurance. When I arrived at the office they could not tell me how much the bill was going to be. I did not want to spend a lot of money because insurance was being used. I continued with the visit and it went well. The physical therapist was knowledgeable and helpful. I later found out that I would have to pay a significant amount of money for the visit. I told them this is what I was trying to avoid and they could not help further. Very disappointing that they do not know what I would be charged even when I gave my insurance prior to the visit. A lot of other places have free consultations. I would look elsewhere.
