With over three decades of experience, Nina brings particular focus to the needs of first responders and military veterans, as well as individuals coping with post-traumatic stress and substance use disorders. She understands the unique stressors these populations face and tailors evidence-based care to support resilience, emotional regulation, and long-term recovery. Her experience in intensive outpatient (IOP) settings allows her to meet clients wherever they are in their healing process, including those managing bipolar disorder or obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Nina is especially passionate about helping individuals and couples recover from the impact of substance use and trauma on relationships. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and couples counseling approaches to foster honest communication, repair trust, and support emotional safety. Whether helping someone rebuild after grief or working with a couple navigating complex dynamics, Nina is committed to guiding clients toward meaningful, lasting change. Outside of her clinical work, Nina enjoys performing as a vocalist and guitarist, exploring her family history through genealogy, and learning new languages.
