About Dr. Page Baker

Dr. Page Baker is a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy. She has focused on orthopedic physical therapy, including working with athletes, post-surgical, pelvic health, and also has experience working with lymphedema patients. Dr. Page Baker trained at first at Hunter College, then at Stonybrook University. Dr. Baker also received a Master’s in Physical Therapy and B.A. in Psychology and Women’s Studies. Following her commitment, Postgraduate training with American Physical Therapy Association Section of Women’s Health, she is also specialized in pelvic health physical therapy for both men and women, pre- and postnatal Physical Therapy, and also an AA degree from Swedish Institute of NY in Massage Therapy. Emphasis on individual patient care is Dr. Baker’s focus, which can include soft tissue, fascial mobilization, joint mobilization, passive, active-assisted stretching, Visceral and colonic massage, Manipulation, Pelvic Health, Neural Mobilization, Shiatsu, Swedish Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy, and Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Please be aware of our late cancellation / No-show policy: If you do not come to your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, then a $75 charge will be applied.

The provider was very kind and seemed knowledgeable and passionate about her work…almost TOO passionate to the point that I didn’t quite feel like I was interacting with a medical professional in a slightly unsettling way. She also made a care recommendation that I subsequently learned (from a 2nd opinion) comes with certain risks that were not discussed. I think her bedside manner and clinical approach might be a better fit for some people than for others.
