I served as the Director of Adult Services at the Nova Southeastern Center for Psychological Studies. I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed my pre-doctoral internship at the Miami VA Medical Center. In addition, I am an experienced Certified Clinical Supervisor and Parent Coordinator. I am licensed in both Florida and New York.
I specialize in the treatment of adults, adolescents, and couples and take pride in being responsive to my clients, including using SMS. I am experienced in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of mood disorders, such as anxiety and depression. I am dedicated to providing ethical and compassionate services.

The most important predictor of your success is how comfortable you feel with your therapist. Come in for a visit and see if we're a fit!
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In an initial session, I will be listening more than talking, so I can assess whether or not I can help you. You will help me understand your strengths and current challenges. As we work together, I will offer feedback to help you cope using different and better strategies.

Dr. Pam is TRULY the best out there! After going through (many, many ) therapists I wasnt able to find one I clicked with. But Dr. Pam has been by far the best therapist out there. You can feel that she truly does care and really listens to everything you say. I suffered with very serious panic attacks/ anxiety. Dr. Pam gives you techniques and ways on how to manage and call your anxiety. Since I have been seeing her, I have really never felt better. 5 stars is not enough!

I have been through many different therapists, but for the first time in nearly seven years. I feel like I finally found a great confident in Dr. Silver. Even within our first visit I believe have made much better modality in understanding my trauma responses and finding better mechanisms in guiding myself through this journey forward. This session, as many other ones, was welcoming. To me it's a safe space yet professional, where I feel comfortable enough to share. Dr. Silver is easy to talk to, a very good listener, she showed me tons of attention, patience and provided clear focus & communication while making sure she is understanding my situation. I find our sessions very grounding and overall a positive experience.
