Preet received her Master's degree in Applied Psychology from New York University, she is an alumna of The New School, and she completed her counseling internship at Berkeley College in Manhattan. Having lived in different countries and worked at varied mental health settings with people from diverse age groups and socio-cultural backgrounds, she has experience and training in managing behavioural and mental health issues by understanding the individual-contextual factors of the "self."
Preet's work is informed by a psychodynamic and relationally-based approach. She embraces holistic psychotherapy that integrates the mind, emotions, body, and spirit in an effort to understand and integrate the "whole self." She will work in collaboration with you to recognise the core issues, emotional blocks, patterns, and beliefs that may be keeping you from living your true life.

Preet is an incredibly talented therapist. She provides a safe space, listens to your every word, and is so genuine in her approach. Preet has really helped me navigate some difficult times and I leave every video call feeling lighter and more grounded. She has helped me feel stronger, more patient, and I am learning to create healthy boundaries with her help. Preet deserves 10 stars!!!

Preet is amazing, . I feel like I have a safe space to be as honest and open when we talk from very beginning. She's a great listener and always gives very thoughtful and helpful feedback. The therapy sessions were comforting and she helped me realize the value of living and see the big picture for life itself. She provides me with information on my triggers and offers me simple and straightforward coping mechanisms. I would highly recommend her.

I almost hesitate recommending her so highly because I want her all to myself! She’s helped me tremendously in the short time we’ve worked together. She has totally redefined what therapy can and should be for me.

As a first-timer, I was reluctant to therapy let alone opening up to a stranger. The stigma around therapy initially presented a roadblock. I would say that Preet understood my concerns well and she provided me a safe and an open space to work with me at my own pace. She is a fair person and maintains a non-judgmental attitude regardless of what crazy things may come out of my mouth. She is very observant (even via video calls), pays attention to details and I appreciate this in a counselor. In short, she is a warm, positive and caring therapist.
After our sessions, I feel lighter and see a progressive change. I would definitely recommend her if you are able to get on her schedule.
