Patient reviews for Rachel Hey-Shipton, DPT
I highly recommend Rachel to all my friends and families who need a great PT , she is super professional, very nice and very detail!
Rachel is kind, patient and attentive. In my visits with her she helped me recover from a terrible ankle sprain and then a back injury. Her massage techniques are great she knows how to put enough pressure to alleviate the pain and helps you create an exercise schedule to continue healing.
Rachel is incredibly effective and conscientious. Having been a (very satisfied) patient of hers has set a high (perhaps unrealistically) standard for the quality I seek not just in movement experts specifically, but really any health professional. I consider myself very lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with her and I honestly can't recommend her more highly.
Rachel's a great combination of knowledgeable and flexible--we worked out a treatment plan that targeted the conditioning demands of my unusual sport (aerial!) and it meant a lot ot me that she took time to understand the movements I needed to be able to do well. She was also patient and responsive to setbacks and other weird little aches and pains that popped up during the course of treatment, and each session was adjusted to meet me where I was. Thanks Rachel!!
Rachel is the best physical therapist that I have ever had. I saw Rachel for about 6 weeks after I had shoulder surgery for a SLAP tear. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. The treatment plan was laid out really clearly for me, so I had clear expectations of how my recovery would progress from week to week. We also talked about my nutrition, energy, mood, and other things to consider to help with my recovery and overall wellness. Best of all, it was actually fun working with Rachel, I'd actually look forward to physical therapy every week. She's a really amazing physical therapist and wonderful person, I plan on seeing her in the future for my many other injuries.
10 stars!!!!!! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, from the PTs, their assistants as well as the receptionist. Rachel and Yannis and everybody else whom name I have forgotten was amazing!!!! I went for prep for surgery on my foot and came out not needing surgery at all!!!! I had been limping for 2 years straight before going there now I can wear heels. Thank you Rachel and all the staff at Ortholgy Chelsea.
Had a shoulder surgery and Rachel helped me with my rehabilitation process, now my shoulder is fully functional again, highly recommended!
