What should a new client know about working with you?

By incorporating a compassionate and collaborative approach, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can openly discuss their concerns and work towards achieving their treatment goals. I believe in the significance of addressing mental health holistically, taking into account not only the biological aspects but also the psychological and social factors that contribute to an individual's well-being. My goal is to empower individuals to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives by promoting mental health and emotional resilience. Integrating psychotherapeutic interventions into my appointments plays a pivotal role in this process. Through methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness techniques, I foster a sense of empowerment and self-discovery, guiding individuals toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their mental health.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My goals for every patient are: accurate diagnosis, fast and effective treatment, minimal doses of medications, and avoidance of side-effects. This is achieved through extended visit lengths and combined medication and psychotherapy treatment. I usually spend the first visit getting to know my clients very well so that we can find shared treatment goals that are important to them and are attainable. I also believe that seamless communication is very important for treatment success. As such, I always encourage individuals and families to be open and honest about their treatment.
