About Ranmit Matharu
Originally from London, UK, Ranmit graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long Island University, NY. He has had the chance to work with a wide variety of patients/populations throughout his academic and clinical training including athletes returning to high level sports, weight lifters, older adults living with neurological conditions and all types of orthopedic injuries
Ranmit strongly believes in the body’s ability to adapt and to heal if given the right environment and appropriate stimulus.
He has travelled extensively and enjoys exploring new parts of the world and trains in the gym regularly to stay active. He has a keen interest and long history with technology and trying new foods.
Ranmit’s approach to treating keeps the focus on the patient the entire treatment whilst being centred around them to allow adaptability so the patient can truly co-create their treatment plans to ensure optimal care. After my invasive hip surgery, I came to Ram to address rotational mobility issues. Needless to say his knowledge, in depth directions on what to do at home & in office exercises have been super helpful. He listened to my concerns, where my discomfort was coming from & has given me valuable tips on how to move forward to get the most benefit from our sessions. I am super grateful.

I am very picky with my PTs and he is the one that I have stuck with the longest so far! I'm not the easiest patient to work with (I will admit), but he is incredibly patient and kind with me while still being perfectly professional. I've already recommended him to all my friends and family!

Took his time! Very Patient, came up with a great treatment plan with Dr Phil (the accupuncturist) in the office. I have terrible low back pain after my C-sections! Have been seeing him 3 times a week. Highly Recommended!

I had shoulder surgery not too long ago & have had challenges w/ strength & being able to get back to the gym & play tennis like before. Ram not only listened, but gave me a plan for home & I am looking forward to future session.
