Rebecca Ress, LMSW (She/ Her/ Hers) received her Master in Social Work in May, 2021 from Columbia University. Through her experiences as a medical social worker, Rebecca is passionate about supporting clients through trauma and grief. Rebecca has worked with clients experiencing chronic illness, substance use, grief, PTSD, anxiety, and depression and is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist. Rebecca is certified in motivational interviewing, trauma-focused CBT, and is a certified grief-informed professional. Rebecca is passionate about mindfulness and the mind-body connection, offering a space for clients to connect to their inner self. Rebecca is approachable, non-judgmental, and offers an unconditional positive regard for all those she works with. Through therapy, Rebecca hopes to bear witness to your personal story as you work to incorporate all the parts of yourself into a self that is joyful, confident, and can see the path forward.
