I believe that past experiences and thought processes have a profound effect on how we live our lives and can influence patterns of behavior. However, we have the power to break these patterns, defy obstacles and use our individuality and strengths to our advantage. Taking the time to interrogate our thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships to improve the quality of our lived experience is a process requiring personal bravery and commitment. Through a carefully cultivated environment, I work to respect and honor that commitment primarily using CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Theory and Psychoanalysis. I also believe in utilizing Mindfulness strategies to re-center us and gain moments of clarity.
I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults that are facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, interpersonal stress, self-esteem, and grief. I strongly believe in every person’s ability to change, grow and flourish. Together, we can address any obstacles head-on to achieve what you truly want in life within an environment of true acceptance.
I received my Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and have experience working with individuals diagnosed with ADHD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety and PTSD.
