Risa began her professional career at Mount Sinai Hospital, gaining valuable experience focusing on orthopedics & volunteering in the sports medicine clinic. She then worked as both Director & clinician in a multi-location private practice in lower Manhattan, affiliated with the Hospital for Special Surgery. This affiliation allowed Risa to learn about the latest in operative & non-operative treatments, observe surgery several times a year and most importantly, forge relationships with respected & cutting-edge orthopedists in New York City.
