I’ve been working as a mental health professional since 1995 because I love helping people! I love getting to connect with each of my clients 1 on 1 and helping them to feel better through therapy.
I’ve had extensive training and education to better equip me to help you
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and my Master’s in Social work from the University of Southern California. I began my training at Kaiser Permanente’s Department of Psychiatry, and was accepted into their Post-Master’s Fellowship Program which continued my training in Psychodynamic Therapy. I also hold a Certificate of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies.
As a Clinical Social Worker working in a variety of mental health agencies throughout Los Angeles, I have trained in Trauma Treatment, including EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Critical Incident Debriefing to assist clients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have also been trained in Incredible Years and Nurturing Parenting, to help parents connect with their children while establishing the necessary limits children need.
