Getting to know Dr. Sarah Nunley

My educational background includes an EdD in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, Sarasota, and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I have worked across most sectors of behavioral health, and my work with veterans and first responders is among my favorites. I specialize in holistic-centered solutions for trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders in adults. I also work with couples dealing with infidelity and communication issues. I am licensed in California and Tennessee.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is to work with you as fast or slow as you need in order to feel like you have accomplished your goals for therapy. I am direct in my approach but always with kindness and open communication.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

What you can expect to take away from our time together is a working partner in your journey. I will always be open to feedback if you feel like your treatment goals need an adjustment or you'd like to explore different modalities in our work together. I will be your cheerleader and advocate for doing hard things. I believe in you!
