Routh Chadwick, LCSW, devoted her early career to the performing arts, in which she found the creative process to be life-affirming and therapeutic. She went on to earn her Masters in Social Work at New York University and is currently licensed in New York State. She has worked in such varied environments as inpatient psychiatry, long-term psychotherapy clinics and after-school programs. She has trained in psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches and has studied with world-renowned mentors in the principles of innate health which she uses in her process. She continues to integrate creativity, pleasure and play into all aspects of her life and enjoys helping others do the same.

Routh has been very supportive & helpful with my problems. I have been in treatment with her for a couple of years & I have made a lot of progress

Absolutely amazing visits. She has helped me tremendously every Saturday together. I cannot imagine where I would be without her help. She is an angel and I feel truly blessed to have her.

My appointment with Routh went really well. Meeting with a new therapist is always a little intimidating but Routh was friendly and reassuring. She's a great listener, and could put pieces of my story together without me having to repeat myself multiple times. I am going to continue to see her on a weekly basis. Overall, I would recommend Routh.
