Welcome! My name is Sandra Perl, and I am a licensed psychotherapist based in New York City.
My goal as a therapist is to help clients realize their strengths and motivations to achieve their desired goals. My therapeutic approach focuses on how one’s past experiences inform their behavioral patterns and emotional responses. My style is open, empathetic, and inquisitive as I try to understand a client’s needs from therapy.
I have experience working with those diagnosed with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use disorder. This work has helped me acquire knowledge about addiction, negative behavioral patterns, and how to meet a client where they are.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Emory University.
