Hi, I'm Andrew. I help people experiencing addiction to alcohol and drugs get to a better place. I also treat associated depression, anxiety, and other challenges that sometimes accompany addiction. Actively using or not, I am here for you, and this is a safe place to consider, get started with, or continue recovery. Whether you're seeking support for the first time or are established and prefer a therapist specializing in addiction, I welcome you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Credentialed Alcohol Substance Abuse Counselor. I earned my Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Substance Use Disorder from Columbia University and hold a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York. I have over a decade of experience as a group facilitator, individual therapist, case manager, and supervisor to graduate-level interns entering the field. My passion is helping people reach beyond what they might have thought possible. How does it work? There are many options to recover, but having a safe space in the world to speak freely is vital. Identifying and achieving your goals equals recovery. You are the expert on you, and to be supported in harnessing your motivation is to find your progress and purpose. I'm here for you, and my approach is simple: listen with patience, curiosity, dignity, and respect, and the work path will reveal itself. I love the conversations in a relatable, easy-going, engaging style backed by years of experience and an eclectic, individualized toolbox. Over the years, I have cultivated a rich referral base for appropriate ancillary services ranging from Inpatient Detox to Rehab to Group Therapy to Psychiatric Addiction Medicine. What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer individual therapy, utilizing an eclectic therapeutic style. I provide services virtually via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. I also offer in-person sessions in a beautiful Midtown West office in Manhattan. I provide group therapy aimed at addressing substance use issues, and welcome you to consider joining our virtual weekly sessions on Mondays at 6:30pm-8pm.
