About Dr. Sarah Sinson
Sarah Sinson is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 10+ years of experience in treating both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic conditions. She is highly interested in Women’s Health and has been treating peri and postpartum patients. She has attended numerous continuing education seminars such as Merrithew’s Stott Pilates Rehab Reformer, Herman and Wallace Pelvic Health courses, Institute of Physical Art (IPA), Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy, Hospital for Special Surgery online seminars and many others to broaden her skills as a Women’s Health and Orthopedic Practitioner. She will be working on getting a Yoga Certification to incorporate the Yoga practice to help her patients in the next few months. Sarah is passionate about getting people back to doing what they love. She provides “pure attention” to the people she treats, and truly believes that being a great physical therapist requires focused, empathetic concern to help each individual patient get better, faster. “The rest will fall into place,” she says.

The session was good, but they were very strict with the paperwork. 24 hours before the appointment, they left me a message that I needed a referral from my doctor. This caused a lot of stress as I needed to rush my doctor to send a referral.

I have had physical therapy at a number of sites in New York City including NYU Langone and Spear. Sara Sinson is by FAR the BEST physical therapist I have ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable, more knowledgable than most physical therapists. She also explains things very clearly and I feel very motivated to do my at home exercises because I trust that she has chosen the right exercise program for me. She is also a lovely person and interacts very effectively with me in terms of creating a sense that we are working together towards a common goals. I only wish it were easier to get an appointment with her, but outside of her often being booked up, she is amazing!

The office was clean and nice. The doctor was friendly and the treatment was awesome. Before my appointment, the receptionist called me a confirmation. They have a locker space and the toilet was clean and big space. :)

Sarah has been working with me on a dislocated elbow and rehab after an ankle ORIF surgery. She is a great communicator, letting me know not only what is happening with my body but also what I need to do to ensure the best recovery. She is highly aware of my pain levels and allows me to push as far as comfortable. She has been a wonderful partner in my recovery.

My treatment sessions with Sarah were pleasant. She was particular with my strong and weak points and made sure that I understood what it meant. She made sure that whatever exercises she prescribed are vital to reach my goal, to get back to running without pain. I'm actually playing soccer pain free now! This PT cares!
