What should a new client know about working with you?

I enjoy working with adults and couples, and have experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I am passionate about providing identity affirming care to members of the LGBTQIA+ community. My specialties include the treatment of anxiety, relationship difficulties, perinatal and postpartum mood disorders, parenting, infertility, trauma, and identity development.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am guided by a trauma-informed, integrative approach which incorporates techniques from relational and attachment psychotherapy with evidence-based tools. This means that I am not only deeply present in the room with you, but I work to help you explore the importance of past and present relationships in shaping your current experiences. I also incorporate tangible tools and skills from cognitive-behavioral therapy into my work so that you can start feeling better more quickly. Therapy, to me, is as unique as you are, and my goal is to tailor interventions to suit your individual needs. We'll explore the impact of your past on your present, working together to make meaningful, long-lasting changes. My style is warm, patient, and sprinkled with humor to help each client feel comfortable and accomplish their goals in therapy.
