Most people seeking therapy ask, "Will this therapist be able to help me?" With nearly thirty years of experience treating individuals, couples, and families, I combine clinical excellence, personalized care, and online scheduling to get you started easily. My approach How I work with patients depends largely on your goals; however, I draw from different theoretical perspectives to remain up-to-date and creative in helping clients. Broadly speaking, I practice a blend of psycho-dynamic, interpersonal, and supportive psychotherapy in conjunction with evidence-based treatments. My focus Struggling with anxious thoughts or self-doubt? I work with young adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. Together, we’ll build coping skills and create a personalized plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable. My communication style I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you as an empathetic partner. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient. My journey to mental healthcare I completed my undergraduate studies with honors at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and received a Doctorate of Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, in 2001. During my career, I've provided services in psychotherapy clinics, psychiatric hospitals, college counseling centers, and substance use disorder recovery programs, etc. My goals for you I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you—whether that’s improving relationships, building self-esteem, or pursuing personal growth. As you gain new insights, we’ll adapt your plan to stay meaningful and supportive as you move toward where you want to be.
