Stephen Tam, PT, DPT, is a licensed physical therapist with over a decade of clinical experience in orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, and sports rehabilitation. After earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mercy College. Stephen combined his background in business and marketing with a deep commitment to helping others, redefining his career through a passion for movement and patient care.
Guided by an expert understanding of biomechanics and movement analysis, Stephen’s treatment philosophy integrates hands-on manual therapy with advanced strength and conditioning principles. His approach emphasizes restoring functional strength, correcting imbalances, and preventing future injury—helping patients not only recover but return to their activities stronger than before.
A lifelong fitness and weightlifting enthusiast, Stephen brings the same dedication he applies in the gym to his work in the clinic. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with his family.
