“Dr. Sunday is very caring towards her patients, and has made a community within the office. I usually book my appointments consistently and end up interacting with Dr. Sunday's other patients while we do our exercises. She is able to multitask but still give one on one attention to her patients when needed. The staff is also extremely helpful. I have never had any issues being squeezed into the schedule last minute, and I am well taken care of when Dr. Sunday is with outher patients. I highly recommend new patients to come here as the service is impeccable. ”

Dr. Sunday Lasmarias is an experienced physical therapist serving the community of Brooklyn, NY. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences and holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna. With over 15 years of experience at Nassau University Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma hospital in Long Island, Dr. Lasmarias has developed extensive expertise in sports, orthopedics, geriatric care, and working with patients with developmental disabilities.
Driven to advance patient care, she founded SJL Physical Therapy PC in June 2023. Her approach is highly individualized and holistic, focusing on identifying the root cause of each patient's problems through thorough evaluation and assessment. Dr. Lasmarias is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services that improve her patients' well-being, enhance their quality of life, and help them live pain-free. Dr Sunday is the best PT ever. She provided an excellent healthcare service that I needed following an injuryI to my back. I came to her office complaining of severe low back pain and I came home feeling so much better. The staff were friendly and very professional. The office is clean and has all the equipment I needed for the therapy. I felt well taken cared of. Highly recommended.

SJL PHYSICAL THERAPY is hands down the best physical therapy I’ve experienced. What sets them apart is their particular focus on manual therapy, and the time they spend with each patient, which is to say that each patient gets individual attention. Dr. Sunday is extremely a talented doctor. Overall the entire staff is courteous, well-trained, and capable. To top it all off, it’s a great environment, they work with most insurance providers.
