Taylor Kwok, PT, DPT

Taylor Kwok, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist
43-12 Hunter St, Long Is City, NY
Taylor graduated from Boston University’s accelerated BS/DPT 6-year program in 2024. Her clinical experiences include orthopedic outpatient clinics, an acute care inpatient hospital, and a school-based pediatric setting across Boston and New York. She has gained diverse experience working with a wide range of patients and conditions throughout this variety of settings. During her time at BU, Taylor, alongside a group of fellow students, completed an academic practicum project. They designed and conducted exercise classes for residents at a local elderly home. Over the course of 12 weeks, the group’s initiative improved the participants’ strength and endurance, as evidenced by achieving clinically significant improvements in outcome measures. Taylor was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy after witnessing its “magic” as a child. Growing up, her grandfather was one of her caretakers, often taking her and her sisters to Dunkin’ and the park after school. Unfortunately, her grandfather had several strokes as Taylor grew up. Despite being young, she understood that physical therapy contributed heavily to his return to his usual self. Taylor is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships with her patients and tailoring evidence-based practices to meet each individual’s unique needs. She strives to connect with every patient, teach them new things about their bodies and guide them through their rehabilitation journey with empathy and expertise.
