About Taylor Rahe

Our office accepts insurance if you have out-of-network coverage. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete paperwork. Dr. Rahe has robust clinical experience across a variety of settings, including chronic disease management, physical rehabilitation, sensory integration, and neurocognitive rehabilitation. During her first year as a clinician, she quickly found the traditional medical model to be inefficient in restoring true quality of life. With this in mind, she was inspired to return to school and obtain her post-professional doctorate from Quinnipiac University, feeling called to leave an impact on the modern healthcare system beyond her work as a clinician. Dr. Rahe has a unique understanding of true health and wellness, which serves as a foundational principle in her approach to care. She believes we are only in good health when we are able to engage in meaningful activities that provide us with a sense of fulfillment. ?In order to achieve this, we need to be treating the whole person, not just their diagnostic code,? says Dr. Rahe. Through her work, she aims to promote purpose and meaning across the lifespan, starting with fostering a balanced internal state. Dr. Rahe focuses her treatments around the specific nuances of each case while paying careful attention to the impact these challenges have on the person's nervous system function. She uses physiological stress-based interventions to promote positive and functional therapeutic outcomes. Dr. Rahe incorporates biofeedback technology to address the root causes of various diagnoses and uses this technology to achieve optimal functioning in daily life. This is coupled with traditional occupational therapy treatments consisting of therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, neuromuscular re-education, environmental and lifestyle modifications, and more.
