Hi there, I'm Tera!
My goal as a counselor is to help others live a life that is fulfilling and purposeful.
My approach
I often use CBT and DBT in my practice. In the first session I will explore what brought you to therapy and then we will make a person centered treatment plan that will be best appropriate for you.
My focus
I work with adults navigating anxiety, life changes, self-esteem challenges, grief, and addictions. Whether you're healing from past experiences, developing coping strategies, or clarifying your personal goals, we'll work together to create a growth plan that feels both empowering and attainable.
My communication style
I offer a calm, patient presence and practice active listening, creating space for you to reflect on your experiences with a supportive, empathetic partner.
My journey to mental healthcare
My Journey to becoming a therapist started with a conversation with my mentor and pastor. After starting school to gain my second Masters I gained the knowledge to walk with clients as they grow and become stronger individuals.
My goals for you
I view therapy as a collaborative partnership. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals—whether you're looking to strengthen relationships, build self-esteem, or work toward another personal aspiration.

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about your background and what led you to seek therapy. This is a process we’ll build together over time, at your pace.
