I help people who struggle with “too muchness” in their lives. Often, it’s problem drinking or using drugs, but it can also be “too muchness” in behaviors and thinking.
I am a clinical social worker whose specialty is substance abuse and mental health. I graduated from NYU with a MSW and earned a certificate as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor in New York State.
My approach to problem drinking utilizes the latest evidence-based research in addiction and motivational interviewing, a technique that enhances desire for change in someone who feels unsure that they can change.
*Regarding insurance, I am not IN any insurance networks, but I am an out-of-network provider. Check with your insurance plan about out-of-network benefits for outpatient behavioral health.
