Hello, I'm Timothy. Have you been struggling lately? Not feeling yourself? Or maybe you’re just looking for help as you navigate life’s challenges. People deserve support and to be treated with dignity and respect. Through therapy, I want to help you get motivated and increase your ability to meet the challenges of your life.
I am an Independently Licensed Social Worker (LISW-S) and Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) in the state of Ohio. My profession has offered me the opportunity to build a lot of knowledge in helping individuals through adversity; whether it be mental health, substance use, judicial involvement, or the impact those topics have on the family system, I’ve developed 10 years of experience in the helping field.
Since I started my career, I have worked in group counseling and case management, as a social worker in the municipal courts, a mental health counselor, a program coordinator of health and wellness services, and in clinical supervision as Senior Director. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from Shawnee State University in 2014 and then went on to get my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Ohio University in 2018.
I currently operate my own private practice where I see clients via telehealth. I specialize in helping with addiction, anger management, anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, and stress. I am looking for clients who are motivated to make the difficult step to ask for help and face challenges with support. I offer a person-centered and positive approach and very much look forward to working with you.
