About Dr. Tiziano Marovino
Our founder and lead provider, Tiziano Marovino, is an AAIPM board-certified Physical Therapy diplomate in pain management in Michigan and the former Program Director of the Pain Therapy Center of Southeastern Michigan. He has also served as an associate professor of Epidemiology/Infectious Diseases and as an executive advisor to Pain and Neurosurgery journals. Dr. Marovino earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Creighton University, a Master's in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, and a PhD in Health and Exercise Science from Concordia University.
Our current facility was founded on the premise that nearly 20-25% of physical therapy patients do not respond well to the traditional "functional approach" commonly taught in schools. While function is most important, functional improvements rarely occur until pain is controlled. This emphasis on pain management is where we specialize.
At TLC Group, we recognize that not everyone can simply exercise their way back to good health without some form of pain control or management.
Our facility is also involved in state-of-the-art medical device research, collaborating with biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device manufacturers globally. As a result, we have access to pain technologies unavailable at other centers. Our patients benefit from a unique blend of novel technologies-including robotic, regenerative, and restorative therapies-combined with conventional manual, exercise, and corrective treatments. We continuously evaluate our interventions to offer only the best possible treatment combinations for chronic pain patients.

Dr. Marovino was fabulous as the whole staff was also. I instantly felt at home! He sat and listened to me — my consult was almost an hour. Going back tomorrow to start my treatment.
