“Tom has excellent beside manner. He is very knowledgeable and always took the time to answer any questions I had during my treatment. Going regularly and most importantly, keeping up with the homework exercises he gave me, helped me significantly decrease and ultimately self-manage the joint pain I went to see him for even after I “graduated” from the sessions. I continue to recommend him highly to anyone I know looking for physical therapy.”

I have been a patient of Tom Andersen for 14 months. I came to Spear afer breaking my shoulder and subsequent surgery. He is extremely knowledgeable and it is due to his wonderful care, encouragement and attention that I have regained the mobility in my shoulder. I highly recommend Tom. If you are looking for a physical therapist who is caring and knowledgeable and will work together with you as you recover then you should pick Tom Andersen at Spear Great Neck.

I had such a great experience at Spear Physical therapy. I specifically worked with Tessy who was instrumental in my recovery. I had a rotator cuff issue that wasn’t getting better with whatever I tried. I’m so glad I found this office. Everyone is so incredibly nice, you never have to wait, and I truly saw improvement after each visit. More than anything else I appreciate that Tessy never made me feel like I wouldn’t be able to keep up my workouts like before my injury, which I was worried about. She never let me slide into being pessimistic and gave me the confidence to keep at my treatment. I’m extremely grateful to the whole team and would recommend to anyone.

I came to see Tom after my 2nd surgery on my left knee, and my experience with him has been nothing short of rewarding, professional, and enjoyable. Tom is always prioritizing the patient, creating an accommodating and customer-centric environment, where you really feel like you're being taken care of, and watched after. I've been at the practice for about 9 weeks so far, and have already began to see progress, and am looking forward to continuing my work there. Would recommend anyone and everyone to him!

Spear PT in Great Neck has been such an integral part of my injury to recovery process. My relationship with them was built over a 14 month period in which I had many unfortunate set backs and complications with my injury, resulting in 5 surgeries to the same affected area. Tom and his team were always able to adapt and make the right adjustments, while remaining mindful of the sensitive nature of the surgical site. Professionalism, attention to detail, and consistency with each and every visit for over one year is why I would recommend Spear PT Great Neck to anyone who is looking to rebound from a life changing injury.

Tom and everyone at Spear are so professional, knowledgeable and patient. They have helped guide me through post-surgery recovery, which is a long road. I would not have come this far without their caring and empathy. I highly recommend Tom and his team at Spear Great Neck.
