I have a holistic/client-centered approach to therapy, and I utilize various techniques that promote a strength-based recovery to assist clients in developing and living more healthy and functional life. I also have trainings in evidenced-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety (Trauma and Substance Abuse) and Interpersonal Therapy. I’m eclectic in my theoretical framework, and the techniques I utilize in treatment are determined to aid each client individually based on their needs. I believe in collaborative individualized treatment plans helping people overcome fears, negative beliefs, and maladaptive behaviors that present barriers in successfully achieving their goals in relationships, finances, education, career, health.
