Dr. Vivian Lee graduated summa cum laude at Harvard University and received her medical degree from Cornell Medical College. She completed her training in adult psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Lee has expertise in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, and is thus able to provide integrated and comprehensive treatment tailored to each individual patient. Dr. Lee also has extensive experience in biomedical research and received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Rockefeller University.
She provides treatment for psychiatric disorders and psychological difficulties, which include mood problems, anxiety, adult attention-deficit disorder, personality disorders, adjustment difficulties with acute life issues and events, medical illness-related problems, and psychotic disorders. Dr. Lee also has expertise in the treatment for women's mental health issues, including psychiatric issues related to menstruation, pregnancy, infertility, or menopause, as well as management of psychiatric conditions through pregnancy and post-partum period.

I have seen several psychiatrists in the last few months to address debilitating anxiety. Dr. Lee is the first psychiatrist who really took the time to listen and consider the various options I had, rather than just write a script for what seems to work “for most people.” She is incredibly thoughtful , kind, and caring. Highly recommend.

I was wary of seeing a psychiatrist but my visit with Dr. Lee totally put my mind at ease. She seems to genuinely care, is a great listener, and helped me create a treatment plan for my anxiety that works for me.

I know Doctor Lee since two years ago. She has been always attentive, respectful and responsive, always there for me when I needed. I feel much better now and understand how lucky I am having had her as a doctor.

Exceptional doctor. Incredibly genuine and very current on issues related to female infertility and psychology. She does not take insurance, however, will go the extra mile to provide care and follow up via phone.
