I’m Wendy Thornell, LMSW, a therapist in Greenville, TX, specializing in teens, families, and the tough moments that can feel overwhelming. Many of the teens I work with are neurodivergent, anxious, or struggling to fit in, and I provide a safe space where they feel seen, understood, and supported. Parents often tell me their teen starts spending more time out of their room and reconnecting at home after just a few sessions. My approach is hands-on and eclectic, drawing from TF-CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and narrative therapies while keeping things real and relatable. I bring not only my professional training but also my personal experience as a parent walking through similar struggles, which allows me to connect with both teens and parents on a deeper level. I believe in partnering with teens to work on what matters most to them, while also giving parents tools to feel more confident and hopeful. My goal is simple: to help families move from surviving to thriving, with more peace, connection, and joy along the way.
