Hello! My name is Whitney McGillicuddy. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California with 8 years of experience partnering with adolescents, families, adults, and couples who are facing mental health struggles relating to life stress, trauma, grief, addiction, and spiritual issues. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Wheaton College, IL, and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller in Pasadena, California. I have specialized training in couples treatment as a Level II Certified practitioner in Restoration Therapy.
I am passionate about helping others develop self-awareness through frameworks like attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, and cognitive-behavioral theory. My approach utilizes prioritizing practical steps to get relief including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
