Getting to know Mary Patricia Killoran

My name is Mary Pat Killoran, LCSW. I am a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist with a Master's in Social Work from Boston College. I have many years of experience working with individuals struggling with substance abuse and the families affected by it. My approach I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my sessions. I believe we all have the potential to lead lives filled with joy, strong relationships, and meaningful connection. I also bring my experience as an Imago Relationship Therapist to support healing and growth. My focus I work with clients and families dealing with substance abuse. I serve adults, couples, and families, addressing issues such as depression, life transitions, grief, and aging concerns. Additionally, I provide coaching to help clients reach their optimal potential. My communication style I create a supportive environment to help adults and couples face challenges related to personal, psychological, and spiritual growth. Together, we explore practical ways to improve your life. You will find me knowledgeable, caring, and warm, with a sense of humor. I also offer coaching to help you optimize your potential. My journey to therapy With over 20 years of experience working with clients, I believe we all have the capacity to experience joy. Sometimes, we need to learn new tools and discover important things about ourselves to live life to the fullest. My goals for you I encourage clients to set clear goals for our work together and to complete homework between sessions to maximize the benefits of therapy. My first session with you In our first session, I will ask why you are seeking therapy and what your goals are for our time together. I will also inquire about your support systems, relationships, and coping mechanisms that have worked for you.
