About William Putschi

William was born and raised in Prince George’s and Montgomery County, Maryland. He first became interested in occupational therapy through his volunteer work in therapeutic recreation summer camps, particularly the creativity and problem solving necessary to create accessible and rewarding activities for children with a variety of physical and developmental disabilities. William attended Duquesne University, earning his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in February of 2019. He returned to his hometown and began his career working in skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation, then home healthcare, before opening the next chapter of his journey as an orthopedic therapist at CAM Physical Therapy. William’s skills and interests include productive aging, treatment of neurological and neuromuscular conditions, and bringing the unique skill set of occupational therapy into the outpatient clinic, to ensure that clients’ injuries and rehabilitation do not have a lasting impact on their quality of life and ability to engage in the daily activities that make us all who we are. In his free time, William enjoys going to concerts, learning to play new instruments, and going on walks with a good audiobook.
