About Dr. Abdo Ismail
Dr. Abdo Ismail is a board-certified periodontist and co-founder of Prime Periodontics & Implants in McKinney, TX. He completed his specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he also served as Chief Resident.
As part of his education, Dr. Ismail earned his doctoral degree in dental surgery from October University for Modern Sciences & Arts. He completed his residency and fellowship in periodontics at the University of Kentucky, where he also earned his master's degree in the same field. Additionally, he is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.
During consultations, Dr. Ismail reviews his patients' dental histories, listens to their current concerns, and outlines all available procedures before recommending a course of action.

I was very kindly accommodated for an appointment without a wait, and the reception experience to the X-rays to the dental surgeon explaining the procedures to me—everyone was very polite, caring, knowledgeable, and efficient! In comparison to others I've also visited for consultations, they had the best service and the best prices, so I went with them.

Those people are the most professional, methodical, and personal. I've been to at least a dozen places to shop around and get different opinions, but this place has impressed me the most. I'm so glad that I could make a final decision.

I had a great experience with Dr. Ismail. He was professional, patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The entire process was smooth and much less stressful than I expected. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and pays attention to detail. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a skilled and trustworthy periodontist.

Dr. Ismail is a great clinician but more importantly I was impressed by his bedside manner and how he explained the treatment plan to me. I feel like he genuinely cares about my oral health and what is best for me. His team is also so friendly, it makes visiting the office a wonderful experience!

Dr. Ismail is an excellent clinician, but I really appreciate his bedside manner and him taking the time to explain my treatment plan. I feel like he also genuinely cares about my oral health and suggested what he thinks would be best for me in the long run. The office staff is also super friendly and my overall experience was great!
