About Dr. Alexandra Aponte

Dr. Aponte is the owner of AquaSprings Dental. She was born in Puerto Rico, but moved to the U.S. after a few years, spending most of her youth in San Antonio. From a young age, Dr. Aponte was drawn towards medicine and eventually settled on dentistry as her career. She attended the Dental School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. After graduating with her dental degree, Dr. Aponte furthered her skills and knowledge with a General Practice Residency at the Washington, DC Veterans Affairs Hospital. As the owner of AquaSprings Dental, Dr. Aponte’s goal is to create an elevated and comfortable patient experience that is inclusive to everyone. Everyone is welcome at our office, regardless of their age, oral health challenges, and past experiences with dentistry. When shes not running our office, Dr. Aponte loves doing yoga, and exploring the Austin food scene with her husband, Landis. But most of all, Dr. Aponte is a dedicated mother to her 3 children Leo, Amila, and Remi (furbaby). As a proud member of “Mommy Dentists in Business”, she understands the unique challenges and rewards of balancing a thriving dental practice with family life. She believes that being a mom enhances her ability to connect with her patients, particularly when treating children.
