A proud Nashville native, Dr. Ama Asare enjoys caring for the community that has been part of her journey from the beginning. Inspired to pursue dentistry at the age of 15, she has remained passionate about helping others through compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes every patient deserves to feel heard, informed, and comfortable throughout their dental experience. Dr. Asare earned her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Meharry Medical College, where she further developed her skills in comprehensive patient care. Dr. Asare believes exceptional dental care begins with listening. She takes time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual needs and goals. Her calm, detail-oriented approach helps patients feel confident and supported at every visit. Outside the office, Dr. Asare enjoys staying active and values the importance of wellness and balance. She loves incorporating Pilates into her routine and spending time with family and friends.
